After several days exploring Malcesine, we finally called in at Da Mario & Sons restaurant. We had walked past this place so many times and it is always packed so to get a front row lake view for brunch was great.
Da Mario has a simple and easy vibe coupled with a great service.
The menu has great choice but more importantly, the quality and value is excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed a very healthy late breakfast at Da Mario’s and we enjoyed it so much, that later in the day we came back for afternoon coffee and snacks.
All in all, Da Mario & Sons proved to be a great choice and I would not hesitate to recommend so if in Malcesine, give it a go.The burgers here are so delicious! We tried the crispy chicken burger and it was amazing. The place has such a nice vibe, and honestly, the experience was made even better because of William. He was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive. His positive personality really made us love the place even more. Highly recommend!

Great harbour side bar and restaurant with ice cream sundays to die for. Our service was attentive and funny and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. You'll no doubt be in the area if you visit Malcesine, so if you're waiting for your big blue boat home or are staying in this stunning little town, be sure to make some time to enjoy this gem.

The best spot in Malcesine for an afternoon snack watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour, or an evening drink watching the world go by. Staff are quick, enthusiastic and friendly and the drink options are wide and wonderful, we returned almost every day for a nightcap and always felt welcome.

Fabulous setting overlooking Malcesine harbour, the food was delicious. I had a Tuna Salad and husband had Antipasto. Followed by Salted Caramel ice-cream... Yummy!!! 😋 Staff were also welcoming, caring and quick service. The only negative observation is that there is only one toilet!! 😲 had to wait... Room for improvement there 😏

We had the best meal of our stay in Malcesine at Da Mario & Sons. It was fantastic, the staff are so friendly and attentive, the atmosphere and surroundings are lovely and the food was amazing. My partner had been looking all week for a Cesar Salad and she says it's the best she's ever had. I had the hamburger and it was huge and really nice. Caramelised onions really topped it off!
We would recommend eating here to anyone, it was a wonderful experience. As I mentioned the staff were all fantastic, they were friendly, came to us whenever we needed something but never hurried us on or pestered us. We will be back before we leave.- Prezzo a persona

It took us a little while to order since everything is so yummy.
We got the ITALIA Burger and Burata Cheese Anchovies Cherry tomatoes. White Wine and A Strawberry Daiquiri. Both drinks came with Free Snacks and chips A++.
Both of my dishes taste amazing especially the Burata Cheese Anchovies The cherry tomatoes are incredible Good.

Tried many other places in Malcesine and there are good and not so. This placed we loved. Nice decor and atmosphere. Found the staff very friendly and efficient. Food really good. 🙂

Visited for a wedding and food/drinks on other days during our stay. All the staff were amazing and service was perfect. Nice outdoor and indoor covered spaces with lake/mountain views. Very accomodating for our large group as well. Lovely food and drinks at good prices. Thankyou for everything, would definately come back!

The interior of this restaurant is beautiful, perfect for a romantic meal for two.On the outside you have a lovely terrace which overlooks the port and mountains.Lovely way to spend an hour people watching and taking in the sun.We did have an evening meal here while sitting inside and the food was good with great service.One thing of note is that they do allow smokers in here which can be a bit off putting.

We visited for early evening drinks once the masses of day tourists left, the vibe was chilled with wonderful views of the lake and mountains. The service was always excellent The food amazing as well, just so nice and refreshing with did I mention great views? I can just close my eyes and I am there with a Aperol Spritz with the sun settings eating olives.

The restaurant is excellently located on the beautiful harbour of Malcesine. For the third year in a row, we've been coming here every time we visit Lake Garda. We enjoy the delicious drinks, an impressively well-developed menu for gin and tonic lovers, and snack on something new from the delicious menu every time - because we can. The service is extremely friendly and courteous and orders are processed on time. Absolutely sincere recommendation.
